Web design & development services

Four things we’re dangerously good at, for clients across Europe and the US, out of Zagreb, Croatia. everything ships through the same process: AI where it’s faster, humans where it matters.

  • Web design & production

Custom websites from first sketch to launch. We design in Figma, build in Next.js or WordPress with Roots Sage, and hand over a CMS your team can actually run: Strapi, headless, or plain WordPress, depending on who edits it and how often.

A typical site runs three to five months from kickoff to launch, longer when there is a rebrand or a migration attached. Every build ships with performance budgets, structured data, accessibility passes and analytics wired up, because those are the parts nobody notices until they are missing.

  • E-commerce

Shops that sell and still look like us. WooCommerce, Shopify or headless, wired into whatever the business already runs on: ERP price and stock sync, B2B and B2C pricing on the same catalogue, card payments with installments, invoices, parcel lockers.

The interesting part is never the cart. It is the migration of thousands of products without losing rankings, the partner portal that replaces a monthly PDF price list, and the payment edge case at 2am that decides whether an order is lost or saved.

  • 3D & interactive

The stuff our showroom is made of: WebGL scenes, real-time 3D product configurators, scroll-driven stories and interaction experiments that escape into client work.

We treat 3D as a production problem, not a demo: model budgets, lazy loading, graceful fallbacks when WebGL is unavailable, and a frame rate that survives a mid-range phone. If it cannot run on the device your customer actually owns, it is decoration.

  • Ongoing care

Maintenance, iterations and "can we just quickly add" requests. Most of our clients have been with us for years, so a launch is the start of the relationship rather than the end of it.

Care means hosting and updates, but also the work that compounds: performance regressions caught early, SEO and AI-search visibility tracked monthly, new features shipped in small increments, and production data treated with dry runs and backups before anything is touched.

What AI-powered means here

AI writes the boring half of the code and drafts the first version of everything. humans art-direct, refactor and refuse to ship anything that feels generated. that’s why it’s faster & why it doesn’t look it. concretely: AI handles boilerplate, migration scripts and first-pass structure, while design direction, interaction detail and the final quality bar stay with the people whose names are on the case studies. the saved time goes back into craft, which is why these projects still end up in front of award juries.

Questions we get asked

What does AI-powered web design and development actually mean?
It means AI does the repetitive half of the work and people do the half that decides whether the result is any good. In practice, AI drafts boilerplate code, first-pass content structures and migration scripts, while our designers and developers art-direct, refactor and reject anything that reads as generated. The measurable effect is on the build phase: work that used to take a full quarter of developer time now takes a fraction of it, which we spend on craft instead. The design direction, the interaction detail and the final quality bar stay human, which is why our AI-assisted projects still win awards rather than looking like templates.
How long does a custom website take?
Three to five months from kickoff to launch for a typical custom website, including discovery, design, development and content migration. E-commerce platforms and multilingual sites with external integrations usually run five to eight months, because the work sits in the systems around the shop: ERP synchronisation, payment providers, product migration and portal feeds. Smaller single-purpose sites and landing pages ship in weeks. The variable that moves the deadline most is rarely development capacity, it is how quickly content and decisions arrive from the client side.
Do you work with clients outside Croatia?
Yes. We are based in Zagreb, Croatia, and most of our work is for clients across Europe and the United States, in English, remotely. Recent projects have shipped for clients in Spain, Germany, Croatia and the US, in up to six languages on a single platform. Time zone overlap with Europe is complete and with the US East Coast it covers most of the working day.
What does a website cost?
Custom websites typically start in the low tens of thousands of euros, and e-commerce or multi-platform projects go up from there depending on integrations, languages and the amount of content to migrate. We scope every project individually and quote in phases, so you approve the budget before each stage rather than signing one number at the start. If you tell us the budget you have, we will tell you honestly what fits inside it and what does not.
Which technologies do you build on?
Next.js and React for custom front ends, WordPress with Roots Sage where the client needs a familiar editor, Strapi and other headless CMSs when content feeds several places at once, WooCommerce for e-commerce, and three.js and WebGL for 3D work. We deploy through CI pipelines to Hetzner, SiteGround, WP Engine and AWS. The stack follows the project, not the other way around.
